Kat Von D; Olympus Dress & Graduation OOTD

I recently had my Graduation, and I didn't want to go at all. So to make it a little better, I treated myself to the Olympus Dress by Kat Von D in her red label collection. I ordered at the right time as I had managed to get myself a code to get 15% off.

Kat Von D is my idol, and I have written about her in several essays during my time at University so it was only natural I wore one of her dresses.

The Dress:

It's simply beautiful, and it only cost $65.00 but only cost around $50 because of the 15% discount so worked out around £35. The shipping cost $30 which worked out around £15, which I though was VERY reasonable, considering I was shipping a package from California, USA all the way to England! The dress arrived very quickly too considering the distance - it took around 2 weeks for it to arrive. I had to pay £20 customs charge though, which I didn't mind too much.

I had also informed the lady herself (Kat Von D) that I was to wear her dress on my Graduation Day, and to my surprise and excitment, she replied!

On to the photos of the day!

And, as because Kat had asked to see photos of me wearing her dress, I gladly sent her a photo! Again, she replied which made my day!

My make-up that day was all from Kat's make-up line too, as well as her perfume in Adora.

This is quite easily the best purchase I have made this year, and I will definitely be buying more in the future. I would also like to thank Kat for being so lovely.

Have you bought anything from Kat's clothing line?

GOSH Holographic Nail Polish

When I found out GOSH were bringing out their famous Holographic nail polish again for a limited time, I was scanning Superdrug every time I went in in case they had some! You can't even begin to imagine my excitement when I popped into Superdrug and they had two! I snapped it up straight away (even thought I probably couldn't afford it, but I couldn't leave it in case I couldn't get my paws on it again!)

This nail polish is simply beautiful. In the light it shines so many different colours, and whilst I was wearing it I couldn't stop staring at my fingers! It's very eye catching!

The only downside I found with this nail polish is that it chips quite easily. After wearing it for 2 days, I found I had ALOT of chips and had to re-do them! It's was a little disappointing, but not once have I regretted buying this polish!

I was surprised at the price too! It retailed at £4.99, and considering it was a special edition polish that people ALWAYS snap up, I was surprised it didn't have a higher price tag, but I wasn't complaining!

Have you managed to snap up this fab polish? If so. what did you think of it?

Olympic Themed Palettes.

With the London 2012 Olympics just around the corner, you can't be surprised that some make-up brands have jumped on the band wagon and launched Olympic themed palettes to co-inside with the games.

The first one I picked up was the Sleek 'Glory' i-Divine Palette.

You can instantly tell it's Team GB themed when you pick it up. With Landmarks in London printed on the front, the English coins and the GB Badges at the top. (the 2012 also kind of gives it away as does the name of the palette!) It's obviously limited edition too, so pick it up whilst you can (if you can! I managed to snag the last one!)

Sleek 'Original' Devine Palette.

Today I picked up the Original Sleek Palette. I know, I know I should have picked this up a LONG time ago - but I wanted others first and I also didn't have other shadows to go with the shades in the palette, and considering I do now, it was about time I picked it up!

(Sorry about the vertical picture, Even though it's horizontal, blogspot will only post it this way round!)

Anyway, this is actually a stunning palette. As I have recently purchased Blues, Greens and Purples from Mali's blog sale - I picked this up as the colours will go beautifully!

This palette didn't come with shade names (or I picked up one that didn't have the names on the plastic)
